An interdisciplinary course in quantitative research methods. No prior training in either mathematics or statistics are required. Basic quantitative methods used in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences are covered in this course. Although data collection and survey methods are discussed, this course focuses primarily on the statistical analysis of secondary data (e.g., pre-existing data) to address social research questions, inform decisions, and better understand the increasingly complex relationships that exist in our society.
