Building on the previous work on Engineering Materials I, a deeper understanding of microstructures and properties of metallic alloys, engineering ceramics, polymers and composites will be gained. The kinetics of microstructural changes in alloys will be analyzed so as to gain the knowledge to engineer materials for specific properties. Capability of selecting engineering materials that is eco-informed for various mechanical designs will further be developed,
