Fosters an understanding about important issues in areas such as intergroup relations, multiculturalism, conflict resolution, the law and the developing world, individualism and collectivism, group dynamics, 'abnormal' psychology and culture, gender and sexuality, social cognition, affiliation and friendship, romantic relationships, and prosocial behaviour.
