This course concentrates on advanced architectural engineering design principals in the context of aesthetic and practical architectural design for communities. The paper explores the formation and impacts of architectural engineering design, building science and technology, and environmental modelling towards development and evolution of community-based multifunctional architectural projects. Involves knowledge acquisition and advanced development of skills to formulate, resolve and demonstrate well-reasoned architectural ideas through technological drawing, 3D modelling and technical evaluation in the context of architectural development. Also focuses on the efficient utilization of architectural engineering principles from building performance, construction technology, environmental simulation and sustainability perspectives in the modern construction industry and professional practice for all students in the program.
