Explores the literary and social influences that inform and shape creative writing. How do we activate our relationships to our social surroundings in our creative practices? How do other texts and contexts influence our creative work, and what power can we come to exert through our creative writing practices? In this course, students will continue to grow their skills and understandings of creative writing by reading, analysing and discussing examples from a range of genres. Staged writing exercises will provoke students to experiment with diverse forms of creative writing while building their portfolios of finished work.
