An examination of current legal responses to interpersonal violence that leverages gender (and intersectional) power imbalances. There will be a particular focus on structural analysis (i.e., how the law shapes and is shaped by social structures) and implications for various systems of law such as criminal and family justice systems, employment and child protection regulation, private and public law.
