Develops professional and interpersonal capabilities within the context of the professional construction manager / quantity surveyor role. Application of theory to the practice of work procedures and processes is included and theoretical and technological aspects of the discipline is related to working practices in the construction industry. Introducing the role of tikanga Māori and its application in the context of reflective practice and professionalism. Utilising the reflective practitioner framework, this course aims to develop the professional construction graduate with an enhanced understanding of the correlation between theory and practice of construction.
