Students will apply skills learnt in Data Visualisation and Analysing Social Data in an individual research project. Students will be guided to develop a research project analysing publicly available data to provide insight into an issue of importance to them. The first half of the course will discuss case studies of published research papers that have informed policy changes and formulate project proposal. This course will prepare students for the process of collecting, wrangling, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data that will be of value for future employment.
