Knowledge and skills in the structure and use of New Zealand Sign Language are developed to a higher level of fluency, enabling communication with confidence in a wide range of situations in the Deaf community. NZSL structures, linguistic features and use of NZSL grammar will be extended to allow confident discourse and further development of vocabulary and fluency in NZSL. Students will be taught the skills to independently and critically analyse their signing abilities.
