Introduces concepts of media, politics and citizenship across social, political and economic contexts. Examines the relationship between media, political and economic institutions and the mediated character of modern politics. Explores the historical and evolving identities and rights of citizens. Considers how citizenship rights are expressed and/or curtailed in different media environments.
