Ka kōrero i te waihanganga o ngā ture me ngā mātāpono matatika i roto i ngā horopaki pāpori, i ngā ara arotake i ō te tangata whakataunga me te aromātaitanga o ngā tukanga matatika, ina koa e hāngai ana ki ngā tikanga me ngā mātāpono whakawhitinga kōrero, pēnei i te tika, i te tōkeketanga, i ngā mōtika, i te mana motuhake, me te ariā o te porihanga papai. Introduces students to ethical frameworks through which to study communications and approach the responsibilities of the media industry and communication practitioners. It discusses the formulation of moral rules and principles within a social context, the ways personal judgments can be evaluated and ethical decision making assessed particularly with respect to communication practice and concepts such as truth, objectivity, rights, autonomy and the idea of good society.
