Introduces students to the study of borders and boundaries from a range of social science and international studies perspectives. It investigates the key concepts of boundaries, borders and globalization as thematic exemplars, and examines how their impact on different disciplines created new sites of enquiry. Students are introduced to multidisciplinary approaches to examine and critically analyse the increasingly interconnected social, economic, political and cultural issues of contemporary national and international society.
