Analyses the nature of ethical issues across political, economic and social contexts. Students will examine ethical frameworks and codes by which personal judgements can be evaluated and by which diverse approaches to equity and moral reasoning may be critically assessed. The course will draw on historical and contemporary issues of ethical concern to encourage thinking and assessment of social justice in relation to how individuals decide what is morally right and how groups, communities and institutions determine right actions.
