The role of corporate social responsibility and its importance in advancing practice in modern engineering and project management. Critical evaluation of the scope of ethical challenges faced in engineering projects and the corporate responses necessary to deal with those challenges. The complexity of ethical issues for projects is dealt with through a case study and a structured research assignment. Self and government regulation of corporations are investigated, as are health and safety responsibilities and liabilities for professional engineers or project managers.
