Rhetoric means 'speech or writing that communicates a point'. Focuses on the art of recognising, evaluating and producing features of rhetorical language in a range of spoken, written and visual communication settings. Models of rhetoric are considered from classical times to contemporary discourse analysis. Rhetorical features are identified in a number of professional fields, as suitable to student needs.
