Professional interpreters are observed working in a variety of real life settings in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the skills required by competent interpreter practitioners, and the ways these skills are adapted to different settings. Observations will be analysed, reflected upon and made relevant to students' own interpreting development. Students will use the Code of Ethics (SLIANZ, 2012) to critically analyse interpreted interaction.
