This course develops students’ abilities to navigate the conventions and expectations of academic communication through practice in critical thinking, rhetorical analysis, and evidence-based analytical writing. It focuses on the rhetorical foundation of communicative events, and prompts students to reflect on their individual, social and cultural influences, while developing confidence and expertise in the processes of academic writing.
