Builds on ARCH700 to show how innovation can enact the concept of ki tua (futurity) to integrate systems change in architectural design, construction and practice. Students are challenged to integrate diverse spatial, aesthetic, technical, environmental and social requirements for a complex architectural proposition of civic, cultural and/or ecological significance. Includes knowledge of regulatory compliance, sustainable environmental, structural and construction strategies, design development, building enclosure and design and construction work processes. Documentation drawings and working models that show the means by which the design intent will be realised are produced in appropriate analogue and digital formats.
