Explores the epidemiology and physiology of cardiac disease. Further develops an understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, electrophysiology and cardiac dysfunction. Develops competence in electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation, and differential diagnoses. Defines management of cardiac arrhythmias, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), and chronic cardiac conditions.
