| Purpose |

PgCertAppPsych graduates will have foundational knowledge of key psychological theories and their application to real-world contexts. They will be able to identify behavioural influences and communicate psychological insights within professional settings. Graduates are prepared for further postgraduate study, including entry into the Postgraduate Diploma or Master of Applied Psychology. They will apply their understanding to enhance their effectiveness in current roles and contribute a psychological perspective to workplace and community settings.

Courses focused on applied knowledge across key domains such as human development and wellbeing, organisational and social behaviour, neuropsychology, and behaviour change. Each course integrates culturally responsive frameworks, ethical practice, and relevance to the Aotearoa New Zealand context.
