Purpose
Graduates will be well-rounded, reflective practitioners equipped not only to engage in research and professional practice but equally to strategically lead, innovate, manage and advocate for the future of the discipline. They will be able to integrate different strands of social and technical knowledge into core design processes and to design a range of buildings at different scales and levels of complexity. They will have acquired the applied research capability to contribute to the social and technical skills-base of the profession, and be at ease working collaboratively, in multi-disciplinary teams or in diverse cultural settings. Students who complete the accredited MArch(Prof) and subsequent approved period of practical experience will be eligible to take the professional practice interview to become registered architects.
