Purpose
MIHM graduates will be prepared to assume or enhance management roles within the global hospitality industry. They will demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the field of international hospitality management, be able to undertake research, and have presented the results by way of an applied project, dissertation or thesis. Those who graduate may apply for further study at doctoral level.

Strategic issues in hospitality management, human behaviour in hospitality organisations, qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis, advanced social theory, policy research and evaluation, human services organisations, international business management, the international business environment, marketing management, marketing issues, tourism issues, consumer perspectives in tourism; approaches to research, research methods.
