Purpose |
Bachelor of Visual Arts Te Tohu Paetahi o Toi Ataata graduates will have advanced knowledge and skills relating to creative visual arts practices. Graduates will be innovative and entrepreneurial problem solvers whose creative practices question, contribute to and shape contemporary society. They will be equipped with technical, cultural and theoretical capabilities, enabling them to work collaboratively to produce object, craft, images, taonga, and artefacts while engaging in and producing critical discourse. Graduates of this degree will be well-placed to contribute to complex professional, ethical and socio-cultural situated contexts, and also prepared for postgraduate study.
