This course explores how social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors influence health outcomes. Students will examine how geography, culture, food systems, housing, transportation, ethnicity, racism, and issues of access and equity shape individual and community health. Within this course, students will develop critical thinking skills to analyse health inequalities preparing them for further study and careers in health sciences.
