This course provides practitioners with the core skills and knowledge needed to undertake a robust investigation into an aspect of their professional practice for their own personal learning, which is outworked in EDUC905 Applied Inquiry Project. We look at key concepts of research-led, practice-based professional inquiry, including the role of theory. Practitioners will use and evaluate a selection of different methodological inquiry tools that are appropriate for their context. Skills in reading, evaluating and using research for practice are explored.
