This course recognises that educators are increasingly dealing with complex issues that impact on their practice, their students and the diverse school and institutional communities in which they are situated. It provides a framework for understanding how changes to the macro-political environment impact the micro-political realities of educators in a variety of settings. Students will critically analyse and reflect on education experiences as part of a systematic examination of issues that are currently shaping education practices.
