Introduces fundamental engineering principles of fluid statics and fluid flow and the interaction of fluid forces. It deals with the static and dynamic behaviour of incompressible fluids. The topics include hydrostatics, continuity, Bernoulli and momentum equations, viscous pipe flow, dimensional analysis, flow measurement techniques and applications, lift and drag forces and fluid machinery.
