A practical approach to learning about the theory and practice of the determinative processes of arbitration and adjudication, including understanding of the development of arbitration in NZ, the role & significance of the UNCITRAL Model Law & the 1956 UN Convention; the 1996 Arbitration Act & amendments; the practice of arbitration in NZ from agreement to arbitrate to enforcement of awards; & the context, history & application of the adjudicative process in the Construction Contract Act 2002.
