|
Learners will extend their knowledge and understandings of curriculum gained in EDST707. They will design learning based on curriculum and pedagogical content knowledge, assessment information and an understanding of each learner’s strengths, interests, needs, identities, languages and cultures. This course includes a specific focus on the application of curriculum theory to specialist learning areas to address the needs of the diverse student population. It is taught in partnership: theoretical aspects will be the responsibility of the university lecturers and the professional application to learning areas will be taught by Curriculum Specialist Teachers through workshops in partner schools.
