During this practicum students will be focused on applying their knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi me tikanga Māori to develop meaningful partnerships with tangata whenua and the children they teach. Students will position themselves as learners and teachers of te reo Māori and demonstrate ako alongside the children they work with. Students will critically reflect on their responsibilities in reference to the Code of Professional Responsibility.
