An experiential approach to learning processes for ethical negotiating, joint decision-making and joint problem-solving. Includes comparing distributive bargaining and interest-based negotiation; models for analysis of communication, sensemaking, perception cognition and emotion; planning for negotiation; applying of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi to negotiation, multi-party and intercultural negotiations; dealing with difficult behavior; and exploring different world views for effective conflict management.
