Constructs and fosters an analytical approach to studying the notion that digital technologies are having an increasing 'impact' upon media communication, commerce, work, politics and everyday life. Interrogates and appraises the role of the Internet, and its various applications, via a series of topics, including network society and changing experiences of time, space and virtuality
