Student teachers will develop evidence based teaching strategies and engage in reflective practice to demonstrate progress towards achievement of the Education Council Teacher Standards and an understanding of the Code of Ethics. Students will work collaboratively and collectively as they critically reflect on experiences in rich and varied learning and teaching settings across education sectors and contexts. Professional learning will include fieldtrips to a range of educational settings, experiences of transition points in schooling and in-depth consideration of the elements of being a professional.
