This course explores the histories of hospitality and food in Aotearoa New Zealand. It uses a blend of expert guest speakers/chefs, lectures, workshops and online learning to allow learners to think about, talk about, write/post/vlog about and consume the histories of food and hospitality in this country. The course looks at food and hospitality within wider society, families, media, business and personal experience. Learners can expect to gain a rich understanding of how history, culture and the lived experience can provide valuable insights into the contemporary business and social experience of food and hospitality in Aotearoa New Zealand.
