21st Century teaching and learning is described as innovative, agile, cutting-edge and technology-rich, optimizing places and spaces as alternative learning environments to the traditional lecture theatre. We will examine the underlying assumptions of spatiality and digitization as influences on teaching and learning in higher education contexts. Included will be experiences of learning in a flexible and digitally-rich environment, exposure to a range of innovations for teaching and learning and opportunities to engage in related pedagogical practice.
