Investigating mentoring systems and practices through a leadership lens, students begin with a critical analysis of the different purposes of mentoring. Theories that inform how mentors learn are critiqued within a leadership context. The focus of study is developing professional expertise within a culture of practitioner inquiry. Students will engage in an inquiry into their own mentoring contexts and develop strategies to develop and meet their personal and organisational mentoring goals.
