Investigates how mentors deliberately build knowledge, practice and expertise based on principles of inquiry and a phenomenological approach to making sense of professional relationships and development. Emphasis is placed on systematic analysis of professional learning conversations to ascertain mentors’ learning intentions in relation to mentoring practices within critical ecological and phenomenological frameworks. Developing mentoring expertise will include conducting students’ own inquiry.
