The course is designed for those who have taken Introduction to Korean Language and Culture (Korean 500) or equivalent. Emphasis is placed on expanding students’ communicative language skills and strategies to communicate with Korean speakers in culturally appropriate ways and increasingly widening contexts. Furthermore, this course aims to continue to expose contemporary Korean culture and social practices, which will help students develop the capacity to appreciate different ways of thinking and a richer understanding of their own language and culture.
