Familiarise students with the most prominent modern theories of justice. It will investigate the extent to which our societies reflect these theories and consider how the theories apply to law and to legal decision making. The course is designed so that it can be taken by students taking any degree programme at AUT. It does not assume any prior familiarity with law, with political theory or with philosophy.
