The course aims to stimulate further interest in psychology, and to increase the student's ability and skills to be flexible thinkers. In addition to developing the ability to separate fact from opinion, the course will assist the student to view topics from diverse and often contradictory theoretical perspectives. The course will also introduce students to the wide range of personal, professional and social issues to which psychological theory can be applied in modern life.
