Provides an in-depth conceptual framework for students to understand and critique the laws relating to New Zealand journalism and the principles of journalism ethics. Through both theoretical and practical modes of study, students acquire a body of knowledge that enables them to negotiate the legal and ethical fault lines in journalism and of the most effective professional methods for dealing with ethico-legal dilemmas.
