Students will plan, produce, and refine an extended piece of creative writing in negotiation with their assigned mentor(s). The emphasis will be on prose fiction, with attention to narrative voice, plot structure and characterisation. The production of multi-modal texts, such as writing for the screen, stage, song writing and graphic novels, may be negotiated subject to appropriate student aptitudes and academic supervision.
