Builds on previous language courses and further extends competency in NZSL and metalinguistic awareness of styles. Students examine structure, linguistic features and appropriate usage including Deaf cultural norms. Nuances and subtleties of meaning through use of discourse analysis and exposure to a variety of styles, registers and genres are explored.
