Explores the way law responds to and creates social problems, and the role of legal professionals in seeking social justice. Includes case studies of legal advocacy and activism in relation to race and ethnicity; science and the law; poverty; addiction and mental distress; disability rights; gender, sexuality and the law; and climate change.
