The significance of cultural traditions and relationships in the learning process is the focus of this course. Our learning practices owe more to culture and tradition that we might think - and there is more diversity (even among European practices) than is often assumed. A range of learning environments and cultural traditions will be introduced and discussed, including, amongst others, those of Maori and Pacific peoples.
