Provide students with an introduction to design principles as applied to the trends and forces that shape tomorrow's world. This paper focuses on designing in anticipation of the uncertain circumstances of the future. Students will examine the nature of global change, its rapid pace and increasing complexity and explore systemic and multi-disciplinary design approaches to managing organisational strategies towards a desired future.
