An exploration of teachers' personal theories and current theories concerning: the nature of knowledge, students learning processes, the aims of education, the relationship between learning, curriculum and teaching, teaching processes, the place of assessment, and the role of curriculum. This exploration, using narrative inquiry, will be across the full range of school sectors and content areas, and will be relevant to teachers from different cultural and philosophical backgrounds.
