A critical focus on the context and purposes of educational leadership in relation to diversity and its multiple forms. Diversity is critiqued from a global policy perspective with a particular focus on educational practices in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Issues examined include understanding Maori and Pasific Island leadership, reducing educational disparities, gender, engagement with diverse communities, service and leadership.
