Integrates mathematics, statistics and computer science to prepare students for advanced study in mathematical modelling, simulation, optimization and operations research. Develops students’ essential analytic and modelling skills using a variety of computational packages including MATLAB, R and SAS. Students will develop solution-oriented programming skills to analyze, model and visualize complex problems using statistical and mathematical techniques that will be taught in parallel with their computational implementation.
