Focuses on the development of a large-scale, multifaceted exploratory design project. This involves an in-depth understanding of how communication design operates within applied contexts is developed through a self-initiated enquiry. Formal and conceptual design concerns are rigorously explored, and design processes are used to plan, synthesize and creatively develop design outcomes. Experimentation, critical analysis and attention to visual nuance are expected.
